Testimonial
When we started working with Ms. Angie, my son was frustrated and struggling. What she brought wasn't just a method but also patience, consistency, and a real belief in him. Over time together, I watched not only his reading and spelling transform, but also his confidence blossom.
Ms. Angie's Orton-Gillingham approach is structured and evidence-based, but what made it click was the way she made every session feel personal. She paid attention to what was working, adjusted without making him feel like he was behind, and gave us clear tools to reinforce the learning at home between sessions.
If your child is struggling and you feel like you've tried everything, please reach out to Ms. Angie. She made a real, lasting difference for our family, and I'm genuinely grateful.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree from John Wesley University, High Point, NC, and I have volunteered as a reading tutor with Augustine Literacy Project and Reading Connections.
My approach combines proven, research-based methods with individualized instruction tailored to each child’s needs—helping students make steady, measurable progress and gain confidence in their reading abilities.
I am based in Guilford County, North Carolina and work with families nationwide through online tutoring via ZOOM. When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy reading, crafts, spending time with my family and our dog Moose-Moose.
If you’re looking for effective online reading tutoring for your struggling reader, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. I’d love to learn more about your child and how I can help.
