About
Hello, my name is Angie Cilluffo, and I understand the challenges and stress a child experiences when they struggle to read because my son has dyslexia. He was my motivation to become trained in evidence-based reading methods and later inspired me to want help other children who struggle with reading.

Services and Pricing
Evidence-Based Tutor provides individualized one-on-one and small focus group online tutoring for students in grades 2–6 residing in the United States. Our goal for your child is to become an independent reader, reading at or above grade level, as quickly as possible. For best results it is essential for student and parent commit to reading together every day for 15 minutes. At the end of the session, parents will receive instructions and/or materials to use with their child at home.
We never require contracts, nor do we sell your personal data.
Reading Tutoring -
One-on-One
Each online session is 50-minutes, twice a week. The first session is free for onboarding and includes a free informal reading assessment for your child.
Your child will receive direct, multisensory tutoring in the skills needed to become an independent reader: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, based on the Orton-Gillingham approach.
At the end of each session parents will receive instructions and/or materials to use with their child. For best results, parents are encouraged to work with their child every day for 15-minutes.
Each session costs $20.00.

Syllabication Workshop
(Busting Up Big Words)
Each online session is 50-minutes, every Saturday for 8 weeks.
Your child will learn the six syllable division patterns and rules, using easy fun mnemonics with multisensory activities and word games.
Our goal for your child is enhanced reading fluency and spelling confidence of 2-4 syllable words.
Prerequisite: Read short words with Closed, Open, Silent E (VCe), R-Controlled, Vowel Team, and Consonant -le syllables.
At the end of each session parents will receive instructions and/or materials to use with their child. For best results, parents are encouraged to work with their child every day for 15-minutes.
